Your Hosts
Ralph and Helen are the owners and managers of Yarra Gables. It only took one inspection for them to like Yarra Gables so much they bought it! They offer friendly efficient personal service and will do their best to make sure your stay is memorable and that you join the long list of repeat guests. Ralph is our in house sommelier and will offer you first rate advice on the wineries of the Yarra Valley. Experienced in hosting guests and special events, Helen and Ralph hope to see Marna House and Yarra Gables Motel returned to more of its former glory in the days it accommodated and entertained guests.
History
Marna House was built around 1900 and was the original farm homestead. Over the last 115 years it has gone from being the homestead, to a guest house, to aged accommodation, to special accommodation and now a luxury motel.
